The Haven café is a community cafe open to members of the public and all who use the Haven centre. All profits generated in the café go towards fulfilling the charitable aims of the foundation and contributing towards future projects that will benefit the young disabled in the Highlands.
The Elsie Normington Foundation are looking for a Café Assistant who is passionate about providing great food and exceptional customer service and importantly believes in the charitable aims of the organisation. Good communication and organisational skills will see you thrive in this varied role.
As part of this role you will deputise for the café manager when they are on holiday or off sick, so a degree of flexibility is required, along with a willingness to learn about the wider café operation.
Working hours: 15 hours over 3 days (including 30 minute unpaid break) with occasional additional hours required for holiday and sickness cover.
Salary: £12.00 per hour
Responsible to: Café Manager
Contract: Permanent (subject to a successful probationary period)
Location: Haven Café, Haven Centre, Murray Road, Smithton, Inverness, IV2 7YU.
